Plain terms for using Jeweler Genius. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@jewelergenius.com and we will explain it.
These terms
Jeweler Genius is operations software for independent jewelers: inventory and sales, custom manufacturing, and finance. These terms are the agreement between your business and us when you create a workspace or use the software.
This is version 2026-09. When you signed up, the app recorded which version you accepted.
Your workspace and your people
A workspace belongs to one business. You decide who to invite, and what each person can see and do. You are responsible for what your team does in your workspace, so give access carefully and take it back when someone leaves.
Keep sign-in details private and tell us straight away if you think an account has been taken over. You need to be 18 or older and authorised to act for the business.
Your data belongs to you
Everything you put in stays yours: your pieces, your customers, your sales, your photos and your documents. We do not sell it, we do not share it with other shops, and we do not use it to advertise to anyone.
We use it only to run the service for you. You can export your data whenever you want, and if the export you need is not in the app yet, ask us and we will get it for you.
Keeping it safe
Your data travels encrypted and is stored encrypted. Each shop is separated at the database itself, not just in the screens, so one shop cannot read another's records. We take daily backups and we test that they restore.
No system is perfect. If your data is ever caught up in a breach, we will tell you promptly and tell you what we know.
What we provide
You get the software as it exists today, and the improvements we ship. We aim for it to be up whenever your doors are open, and we do planned work outside store hours where we can, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
Support is by email at hello@jewelergenius.com. We answer during business hours and we prioritise anything that stops you selling.
Your records are still yours to check
The software helps you keep inventory, sales and money records. It does not replace your accountant, your bookkeeper or your tax adviser.
Tax rates, filings, appraisals, insurance values and legal documents remain your responsibility. Check the numbers before you rely on them for a filing, a claim or a decision, and tell us if something looks wrong so we can fix it.
Using it properly
Use the software for your business, lawfully. Do not try to break into it, reach another shop's data, resell or copy it, or upload anything unlawful.
When you hold a customer's details, collect what you need and keep it accurate. Your customers' privacy is your obligation as well as ours.
Early access and price
Founding shops use Jeweler Genius free during early access. No card is needed to start.
We will show you the price and give at least 30 days' notice before we charge you anything. If the price does not suit you, you can leave and take your data with you.
Ending it
You can stop using Jeweler Genius at any time. We can suspend or close an account for non-payment, for misuse, or where the law requires it, and we will give notice unless the situation is urgent.
After an account closes we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it, then we remove it.
What we are not responsible for
The software is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it is free of errors or that it fits a particular purpose.
We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 100 US dollars while you are using it free. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We will update these terms from time to time. Every version is dated and published here.
If a change matters to you we will email you, and we may ask you to accept the new version in the app. Carrying on after a change means you accept it.
Law and questions
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and the courts there settle any dispute we cannot resolve between us.
